You may have noticed a familiar name on emails, or when you've called the INARF office recently. It is not a ghost - JoAnna Moskal has returned from her farm to help out on a part-time basis leading up to the INARF Annual Conference. JoAnna was part of the Membership Support team working primarily on communications and member services for nearly five years before she left in 2012 to pursue a rural life.
She realizes quitting her job to be a farmer during the worst drought in 150 years may not have been the most sane decision, and she did reconsider her career choices on a few occasions, especially the day the chickens broke into the garden and devoured all the carefully tended and nearly-ripe watermelons in their path. Despite these challenges, JoAnna is still full of optimism about the greenness of her thumb and looks forward to a more typical 2013 growing season.
In the meantime, she is glad to lend a hand at INARF and is assisting with conference preparation, membership support, and trying to be generally helpful.
