The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has announced that they are seeking public input on the modified Statewide Transition Plan (STP) for Compliance with Home and Community-Based Services Final Rule. It is our understanding that the only modifications made to the DDRS portion of the plan are in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) questions related to the original transition plan, which CMS communicated in their Clarifications and/or Modifications required for Initial Approval (CMIA) letter.
The public comment period is now open and ends on April 6, 2016. Comments and input regarding the draft transition plan may be submitted in the following ways:
-Written comments can be mailed to: State of Indiana FSSA/OMPP Attn: HCBS Final Rule - Kelly Flynn, manager, State Plan and Waivers 402 W. Washington St., Rm. W374 MS - 07 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2739
INARF will analyze the modified STP and develop comments to share with members and submit to FSSA. INARF encourages all member agencies to provide comment by the deadline. If commenting on the amendment, we ask that you share a copy with INARF by emailing comments to email@example.com.
If you have any questions or comments about the STP, please contact your INARF office.
