It's official! Governor Pence recently issued a proclamation declaring September 8-13 as DSP Recognition Week in Indiana. INARF members are encouraged to build on the momentum by planning events - big and small - to recognize the contributions of Indiana's direct support workforce. The Indiana Commission on Developmental Disabilities held its second meeting on August 27, with a focus on identifying key issues pertaining to the delivery of services and supports for persons with disabilities.

-- To: Bureau of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Providers From: Nicole Norvell, Director, Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Re: Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration Date: August 29, 2013 The DDRS’ Bureau of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (BDDS) will host two Train-the- Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training sessions on September 13 and 27, 2013, at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The training sessions will be held in Conference Room 22 from 9 am - 4 pm and are for agency nurses who work for approved BDDS providers.
