The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services is currently still evaluating submissions for the Day Service Provider Grant Request for Funds, DDRS RFF-18-001, and award notifications will not be issued on February 14, 2018, as outlined in the RFF. As noted in the RFF “Due to the unpredictable nature of the evaluation period, these dates are commonly subject to change.” DDRS will issue notifications when the evaluation process is complete. On March 21, 2018, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) will post for public comment proposed waiver amendments for both the Community Habilitation and Integration (CIH) and Family Supports (FS) waivers. The Division is pursing amendments to enhance the service definition of case management, and to reinforce person centered thinking and concepts emphasized in the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) settings rule. These amendments will also align case management activities with philosophical elements of the LifeCourse Framework, as presented to case managers in the fall of 2017, and presented in the online webinar reviewing the revised Person Centered Individualized Service Plan (PCISP) implementation.
