OVERVIEW
The INARF Annual Conference continued to evolve in 2026, bringing all audiences together for a dynamic two-and-a-half-day experience. The conference opened with the INARF Opening Awards Celebration and wrapped up with Best Practices Sessions that foster peer-to-peer learning among professionals in similar roles from across the state. In between, attendees engaged in a variety of one-hour educational sessions, explored the Expo Hall between sessions and during lunch, shopped unique hand-crafted items from Artisan Exhibitors, and connected with vendors offering innovative products and services. Casual conversation and meaningful networking are woven throughout the event, highlighted by Tuesday evening’s Annual Conference Reception.

ANNUAL AWARDS
The Opening Awards Ceremony launched the INARF 2026 Annual Conference with energy, inspiration, and purpose - setting the tone for a meaningful conference experience. This signature event featured the presentation of the five INARF Annual Awards, honoring individuals whose leadership, dedication, and innovation continue to elevate services and supports for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities across Indiana and includes the celebration of the achievements of the INARF Leadership Academy – Class of 2026 Graduates. This inspiring opening set the stage for connection, learning, and momentum that was carried out throughout the conference experience. Nominations for 2027 will open in May of 2027.

The INARF Annual Conference Expo Hall brings together traditional exhibitors and Artisan Alley participants in a shared, high-traffic space designed to maximize visibility and engagement with more than 325 attendees. Exhibitors benefit from built-in foot traffic during session breaks and mealtimes, creating multiple touchpoints for meaningful connection. With exhibit opportunities available on both Tuesday and Wednesday, organizations can choose the day, or days, that best align with their goals, offering flexibility while delivering a strong return on investment. Registration for the 2027 Annual Conference Exhibit space will open in April 2027.
