Committee Members

The eight-member Committee includes representatives of five state agencies. Specifically members include the Director of the Division of Disability, Aging and Rehabilitative Services, the Commissioner of the Department of Administration, the Commissioner of the Department of Health, The Director of the Division of Mental Health, and the Executive Director of the Governor’s Planning Council for People with Disabilities. These agencies are either involved with programs for persons with disabilities, or are responsible for purchasing supplies and services for the State. Three at-large members are appointed by the Governor. It is the Committee’s responsibility to administer the law (IC 16-32-2 and IC 5-22-13) which encourages state agencies and units of local government to purchase products and services from qualified rehabilitation facilities which employ Indiana’s citizens with disabilities.
