HANDS in Autism® has been invited to conduct an analysis of the current resources and services related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across multiple stakeholder groups in the state of Indiana. As an initial part of this process, HANDS is inviting individuals to share their perspective from the viewpoint for which they are best able to do so (e.g., family member, individual with ASD, medical provider, school personnel, justice system employee, community service provider). Please take the time to complete the Needs Assessment Survey, so that your input can be utilized throughout this analysis. All of your responses will be confidential and only summary data will be shared with the state. If you would like have copies of the assessment, please contact HANDS in Autism®. At the conclusion of this survey, HANDS will also provide an opportunity for you to indicate your willingness to participate in telephone interviews and/or web-based conference calls or live forums with individuals and/or interest groups from regions across the state as we gather additional information to inform the success, challenges, and needs among groups in supporting individuals with ASD. Each part of the process is essential to collecting comprehensive feedback that will be provided to the state along with recommendations derived from such data informing areas of success and need regionally and statewide. Your participation would be highly valued! Feel free to contact one of the coordinators of this project directly at nswiezy@iupui.edu or nealtiff@iupui.edu with questions or to get more information.
