The following was sent from the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS): We are happy to share information and the upcoming dates for a three day intensive transitional programming facilitated by Hands In Autism for employment service providers and their staff. There are available slots in all remaining sessions listed below. We have received great feedback about this intensive training that focuses on providing handson experience and coaching in a simulated work environment. Individuals with disabilities participate, facilitating a rich learning environment for all. While the program includes traditional instructional methods such as lectures and discussion, the emphasis of training is building increased knowledge and skill of the process of making appropriate programming decisions for each individual, workplace and/or intervention team through hands-on application and learning.
