Re: Community Integration Habilitation Waiver new daily rate billing
Date: June 25, 2015
On June 22, 2015, The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) received approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to allow for the implementation of the new daily rate structure under Indiana’s Community Integration Habilitation (CIH) waiver, which is available on the BDDS’ webpage.
To prepare for this conversion, providers and case managers who have individuals eligible for the daily rate will be receiving two lists:
- A list of individuals who have been identified as meeting the above criteria for inclusion in the daily rate billing structure.
- A preliminary list of individuals whose spend amount in 2014 in their DAYS or BMAN services was above the reserve. BDDS is providing providers with these lists so that service planning can take place for these individuals. Both the DAYS and BMAN allocations for these individuals will be taken to their reserve amounts.
Providers will need to check their NOA email on Thursday, June 25, 2015 to ensure receipt of these lists and may also contact the InSite helpdesk with any questions.
