Director of Group Home Services

Immediate opening for Director of Group Home Services within Damar Services. This professional will lead and direct all administrative, staff, customer service, and quality improvement operations of the service line. Responsible for the direction and operations of four children's group homes. Works closely with therapists and managers to ensure quality programming for each child served at Damar. Responsible for the direct supervision of managers and staff in the service line.

Participates in all leadership activities of the agency, represents him/herself as professional role model, works cooperatively with all professionals at Damar, and seeks to improve customer service continuously. Works closely with the team to develop individual program plans, monitors progress of active treatment, prepares monthly progress reviews, ensures appropriate data collections to support active treatment goals.

Responsible to the Director of Community Living & Support Services for ensuring quality care and customer service, budget preparation, monitoring, and compliance, quality staffing, and crisis intervention. Responsible for the supervision of Managers within Service Line.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human service discipline (i.e., psychology, social work, special education, or related behavioral science). Minimum of 3 years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. One year experience managing and leading a team of people to successful outcomes. Preferred experience with knowledge of ICFMR rules and regulations. Acceptable driving record and eligibility for coverage under Damar's auto insurance policy required. Some lifting and/or physical management of individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors may be required.

Program Coordinator / QMRP

ResCare/ Normal Life of Terre Haute is seeking applicants for the following position. Program Coordinator/ QMRP. Responsibilities include the development of Individual Support Plans by facilitating the assessment of needs and desires of individuals with developmental disabilities living in a Supported Group Living environment. The Program Coordinator coordinates the function of the Support Team for each individual.
Is responsible for coaching and training Home Managers and Direct Support Staff in the implementation of the ISP, assisting individuals to understand their program plans, and supervising direct care program services staff. This position is responsible for the overall functioning of program services provided to individuals in the group home program.
